What is Mudpool?
Mudpool.co.uk is an online auction and classifieds website that was founded in late
2010 with the desire to give the UK more choice when it comes to buying and selling
online.
We offer a unique shopping experience with personalised shop walls, the ability to
follow sellers and buyers, member news feeds, and integrated shopping carts with
simple to use combined shipping features. We aim to bridge the gap between existing
auction websites and contemporary shopping sites.
How we plan to succeed
We don’t charge listing fees and never will. Although this just sounds like
a benefit to the seller it’s also a fundamental difference in our business model.
For Mudpool to make a profit we rely on sales. Therefore, all of our advertising
goes into generating sales and building our buyer base rather than just attracting
members to gather listing or membership fees.
How can a small site compete on exposure?
All of the products listed on Mudpool are automatically published to Bing Shopping,
ShopZilla and Google Shopping. These are the same shopping engines that the likes
of eBay and Amazon use. So your product could be one of thousands listed on a large
site or be listed with us and get the respect and attention it deserves!

From the beginning we wanted to change the way online marketplaces present products.
We are continually refining our design and regard presentation and usability as
